HUNTERDON COUNTY YMCA SUMMER MEMBERSHIP

Y Summer memberships provide families and individuals the opportunity to have fun and be healthy this summer, without having to travel far. Memberships include use of the fitness centers at the Deer Path Branch (Flemington) and Round Valley Branch (Annandale), as well as the indoor pool and gymnasium at the Deer Path Branch. Y Summer memberships also include use of the outdoor pool at YMCA Camp Carr in Clinton Township during the evenings and weekends.

Y members have access to over 100 exercise classes per week including Group Power, Group Step and Group Groove, plus 17 water exercise classes per week all at no additional cost. Babysitting with fun activities for kids is provided for parents to be able to work on their own health and wellness routines.

A YMCA membership is a great option for college students and teens. Teens ages 12 and over have full access to all exercise classes and the fitness centers (12-14 year olds must complete an orientation). New this summer is 4 on 4 full-court basketball leagues.

For 8-12 year-olds, the Y offers the Be-Fit Room. The room includes strength-training equipment for youth plus a Wii system. The summer hours are 9 am-12 pm and 4-8 pm Mon.-Fri. and 9 am-12 pm Sat.

Full members can take advantage of a special rate for YMCA Summer Day Camps as well as for Y youth programs including swim lessons, dance, karate and sports classes. Summer Camps start on June 25. The Summer Session for YMCA programs also begins on June 25. For more information, please visit www.hcymca.org
